Flowing from Avallon to Pontaubert, the Cousin takes its source in the heart of the Morvan and flows into the Cure river, almost 67km away.
The valley is a Natura 2000 protected site, well known for its biodiversity & natural heritage. The ancient historical remains that border it are home to endless plant species (alders, ash, willows,…) and animal species (Greater Mutiny bat, dippers, trout, crayfish, otters, etc.).
Watch out! You’re being watched!
